Educational purpose
This site and the community linked from it exist for learning: firmware, embedded hardware, and ethical security work. Nothing here is an invitation to attack systems you do not own.
Hardware risk
Flashing firmware can brick a device. Boards vary, bootloaders vary, and a cheap USB cable can corrupt a write halfway through. Before you flash anything, know how to put your board back into download mode and how to reflash stock firmware. Assume every flash carries the risk of a device you have to recover.
Legal use only
Wireless testing tools are legal to own in most places and illegal to point at other people's networks nearly everywhere. Transmitting on regulated spectrum, deauthenticating clients you do not own, or capturing traffic you have no right to is a criminal matter, not a grey area. Get written permission before testing anything that is not yours.
